About Natallia_Rakitskaya...

Hi everyone! Glad that you visited my page :)

I’m 25 years old and I live with my husband and a huge great cat in a wonderful and calm town - Brest, in the south-west of Belarus. And I was really glad to come back here, though I have never left it permanently :)
I finished 11 grades of musical school, playing dulcimer and dreaming to learn to play the guitar one day, and have a degree in Computer Science and the English language. Now I work in an IT-company as a tester of software. My most favorite hobbies are quite typical: reading, watching movies and serials, dancing and scrapbooking a little. But my true passion is spanish songs - I can hardly understand them, but they can really make my day! I haven’t travelled a lot, but I’d like to very much. My old dream is to visit Maldives.

It seems that my list of favourites can give you the idea of postcards I like to the best advantage, but here I also leave some tips:
- cards of bright colours
- cards with castles and buildings or panoramic views, landscape, tea plantations, nature phenomenons
- cards with images connected with some legends
- cards with hamsters
- cards with cats, especially of grey color! It'll really make me happy, you know... =^_^=
- and cards with beaches or sea fish/tortoises/stars and Maldives (as the greatest dream of my life) or other islands and turquoise (blue/green) water!!
- from Finland: bottlepost - I will definitely send postcards back to you!

as well as:
- cards with places where you live or visited
- cards with people in YOUR national clothing
- cards with animals which are unique for YOUR country
- cards with cuisine and dishes that are VERY-VERY typical for YOUR nation, region, culture
- map cards from your country
- cards in retro style
- "Greetings from..." series by Postallove

Or you can just ignore all this stuff I wrote here and try to surprise me ;)

Please, don't put your postcard into an envelope. I'd prefer to get it with stamps and notes :) If it’s possible, put colourful post stamps on a card (as we don't have big variety here). Write please time, date and weather conditions while writing a message on a post card.

It’ll be also very interesting for me if you tell me about your most unusual hobby, about nice things you have done, about what you would like to do/did this summer/vacation, about your pets, about your land and the things I really should see/do when I will visit it or about places that you have visited and that have stayed in your heart forever.
I also get great pleasure from learning new languages, so if you don't really know what to write - I'd be happy to get several words written in your native language! Or you can just write the quote (from book/movie you like) in your own language (with translation ^^)

P.S. My Favourites list may contain postcards that I've already received and liked very much :)

Wish you all the best and see you on postcrossing!
