About Sandra...

Moi (Drents) = Hoi (Dutch) = Hi

My name is Sandra. I live in Hoogeveen, that is a large village in the province Drenthe. At the north of the Netherlands.
I work as a nurse at a rehabilitationcentre with patients who had a stroke or other neurological disorders.

At my spare time I like reading, music, theater(musical) and spending time with my friends.
I love during the winter making Jigsaw puzzles, specially Wasgij puzzles.
I'm a fan of a Dutch singer/actor Danny de Munk. I love also the music of The Common Linnets and Waylon.
When I started PC I had two lovely old cats,named Lobke and Lisa. I like cards with cats on it.

*** I love to receive in November/December/Januari Christmas and/or New Year cards (with Cristmas or December stamps when your country have this kind of stamps)***

I look forward to receiving postcards from all around the world and also to send them. It's a challenge to find that special kind of card that someone wants, but I can't promess you that I will find it, I try to do my best.

Some things that I like and maybe you have one for me, but it's not an obligation:

* 4 Seasons on a card!!!
* Cats
* Alphabet
* Olympic Games (summer and winter)(old and new to come)
* Map or flag from your town, country, state, province, continent
* the beach or beach related
* Correspondances
* Lali cards
* Inge Löök cards
* Gorjuss
* with my favorite animals: Giraffe, Monkey/Apes
* children's book illustrations.
* sunrise or sundown
* from illustrator Silke Leffler
* with a short poem or quote/inspirational thought
* I love sand castles and sand sculptures.
* cards that support charities (like Unicef, SOS Kinderdorf for example or one specialy known in your coutry like we have in the Netherlands "Kinderpostzegels")

You don't have to struggle to find cards like I wrote above.
I'm not picky, but please no Advertising-cards or selfmade cards.

Maybe you need some inspiration: My favorites wall is a mix of received cards that I like, and cards seen by others as examples of what I also like and don't have. Don't be afraid to send me a duplicate card, what is written on the back is never the same.

If you don't know what to write: I like to read something about yourself, what have you done during the day, what was/is the weather, your hobbies, or what is seen on the card. Why you choose this card for me. Or about your job or study. How does it looks like where you live. Please more than Happy Postcrossing.

** Can you please write the date on your card? I ask that because when I'm old and grey I still know when you've send the card.

I don't find it a problem if you scan the card you send to me in advance.
I register the cards that I receive the same day. (when I have to work an eveningshift it can be the day after)

Happy Postcrossing!!!
Yours sincerely,
Sandra.
