About Gabrielė...

Hey!

We still do not know each other, but as soon as I get your card, I hope I will know something about you. I know that getting to know people can be frustrating, so I’ll start:

My name is Gabriele, I live in this beautiful and small country near the Baltic sea – Lithuania (If you have never heard of it – it’s a great opportunity to Google it :) ). I’ve been a postcrosser for more than 7 years (pretty long, huh?) and I am still loving it. Since the very beginning lots have changed in my life – I’ve graduated from school, university, lived in different places, cities, travelled, met lots of amazing people, did some internships and had few jobs… And right now I’m just enjoying my life the way it goes and ‘I’ve been trying to figure out exactly what it is I need’ (and quoting Arctic Monkeys.. Oh, I just love them).

Well, this is me or at least the part that I am sharing with my anonymous fellow postcrossers. If you like to know me better, I would love to make new pen pals :)

And what about you? Who are you? What makes your day? What’s your most favorite color? Which book did you read last? Tell me any story that you would like to share. Write me a quote, a song lyric, an extract from a book, the most beautiful word in your language – anything.

What kind of postcard would I like to get? Something that you think is a part of your country’s identity- it could be a picture of a city, a park, an animal, a dish, a coin…. I think you got my point :)

Oh, okay, I can give you some hints, what I really love: books (lots and lots of them), chocolate (the thing you can’t get enough of), foxes and owls (some friends even call me Fox), the night sky and everything that you could call ‘a classic’ – it could be a painting from Van Gogh or Queen’s Somebody to Love. ‘A classic’ is something that you think overcame it’s time and still amazes you :)

Anyways…Please, be creative – maybe I would adore your card, because I have never seen one like it?

Can’t wait to get your card!

-Gabriele
