About Birgit...

Dear fellow-Postcrossers,

I'm Birgit, living with my 'hubbie' and our two kittens in a small village near Leiden in The Netherlands.

I'll be happy with any postcard you send me, but if you would like some suggestions:

► your home-town or country
► bright colours
► beautiful photography
► nature: mountains, waterfalls, landscapes
► animals, especially bears & cats (I love the cats of Makoto Muramatsu, Alexey Dolotov, Séverine Pineaux, Rina Zeniuk, and also Grumpy Cat and the Cheshire Cat), and dragons!
► historic places, old/abandoned buildings
► art, art nouveau in particular
► vintage cars
► fantasy
► Inge Löök, especially her Aunties
► and I also love home-made cards - I have received some real pieces of art already!

(If you like, you could also have a look at my Pinterest boards: http://pinterest.com/Ourse99/boards/ to get an idea of what I love.)

Feel free to look at my favourites (mostly cards I've received), but don't worry about sending me a card I've received before - there's always the other side of the card so I don't mind mutiples!

It would be nice to read something about you, or maybe you want to send me your favorite poem or quote. And would you please put the date on the card?
And if you'd really want to do me a big favour: a museum ticket, or a coin (old or new, but no euro-coins, naturally) from your country would be great!
An idea I got from a fellow Postcrosser: if you like perfume, I would be happy if you can spray your favourite on the card and write the name of the scent. I found out that the scent lasts longer on a card in envelope, but that's up to you.
Thank you!
