About Jackie...
Hello. I am 50-something. At an early age I discovered a love for photography. I studied black and white photography in school which became my major in college. I studied the art of black/white film photography and processing the film and printing all my own work in a darkroom. I also have a minor in art history.
I am looking forward to learning about the world through others and their postcards.
As a child, I began to collect postcards that our family received from family or friends when they traveled. I still have them in a special box. Now, my collection will be able to grow by leaps and bounds. Postcrossing is a marvelous find.
I enjoy seeing postcards that show me what other cities and places look like.
*beautiful artworks (I traveled to Firenza in college)
*historic buildings and places (beautiful architechture)
*vintage photography
*your favorite things/where you've traveled
I'm not too picky. No pornography! If you paint or draw or do rubber stamping, photography or any other creative paper craft, a homemade postcard is welcomed.
I do enjoy reading a little something about you. You can tell me if you love coffee or are a tea drinker. If you crave chocolate or can't stand the stuff. I'd be glad to know. I don't believe white chocolate should be called chocolate at all and I don't think it has any taste. I love European dark chocolate. :) It's these things that make individuals who they are.
Please include the date on your postcard if you would. Thanks.
