I have been collecting postcards since I was a child and even after 2500 postcards am still happy to find another postcard in my mailbox. I love discovering the things we have in common and learning about our wonderful world.
I have three dogs and one very old, very bad finch (his name is Bobby). In 2014 we fostered Chika and failed. In 2018 we fostered Obi and failed. Being a foster fail means you end up adopting your foster dog. Both are black and tan Shiba Inus. Chika is small and Obi is big and they are both waiting for treats. 😉 In August, 2019 I flew to Arkansas and picked up my puppy. She is a cream Shiba Inu and her name is Rosie! She is the cutest puppy ever.
My hobbies are reading, playing with beads, sending postcards and bullet journaling. I love the beach, Shiba Inus, feathers, birds and butterflies.
I teach Health Education in a high school. We have been virtually learning for over a year but are in the process of returning to in person learning. I will be glad to see my students and co-workers again but will miss spending all day with Rosie, Chika & Obi. I think that I will be the one with separation anxiety. 😂 🥲 Wish us all luck with this transition!
After being home for a year I am ready to go somewhere besides the grocery store. My favorite place is the beach, any beach, so would love a beach postcard until I can go in person. I've been to some very pretty beaches this year thanks to Postcrossing. 😊🏝
If you need a suggestion about what to write:
* What have you done recently that was kind? I asked this question last year and there are some wonderfully kind Postcrossers out there. Thanks for sharing your stories. Hearing about kindness makes every day better.
* What are you thankful for today?
* How are you coping with COVID?
My favorites list is a mix of cards I have received and cards I would like. If you don't have a card that fits my list, don't worry about it. There are so many wonderful cards out there that I haven't seen yet. 😊 So, thank you in advance. Stay healthy!
