About Anja...

I'd love to get cards showing:

* UNESCO World Heritage Sites (especially those still missing in my collection: http://forum.postcrossing.com/viewthread.php?tid=41274#pid2682408 but others are highly welcome as well)

* all kind of map cards

but I know those cards can be quite hard to get and I also like these subjects very much:

* beautiful touristy cards, monuments, city views, night views
* beautiful landscapes, beach scenes, sunset/sunrise
* historical buildings/anything historical/cards showing really old (landscape/city/buildings) photos (PLEASE no historical/traditional paintings)
* anything archaeological
* cards showing traditional sceneries, traditional villages/towns (no paintings, please)
* Krtek, Winnie the Pooh, Sendung mit der Maus, Sandmännchen (the German one) and similar cards
* typical animals
* cards about food, recipe cards
* Atelier Nouvelles Images FOOD cards

Or just have a look at my favourites here http://www.postcrossing.com/user/anjaaustel/gallery/favourites and here http://www.flickr.com/photos/anjaaustel/favorites/

There's only two types of cards I really DON'T like and it would be nice if I wouldn't get those:
- ad cards (and I rarely send those myself!)
- art, including landscape paintings - sorry, but I really don't like them, unfortunately I keep getting many of those lately :(
(Don't you think, too, that it would be better to send such cards to people who really apreciate them because they like art?)

About myself:
I'm 33 and I live in Göttingen, central Germany.
I LOVE reading and I also like learning languages and travelling if my bank account allows it - lately a lot of my travelling is connected with Postcrossing meetings! :D
I collect postcards (of course!), bookmarks and first names (if you don't know what to write on the card just tell me about your favourite names) and I have a bunch of penfriends from all over the world - even if at the moment I really lack time for writing letters.
I'm interested in a lot of subjects like history, archaeology, geography, ethnology, science, foreign countries, football/soccer (German national team and Bayer 04 Leverkusen)...
And I love chocolate, I'm a real chocoholic! ;D

I'm always open for swaps for cards of UNESCO sites still missing in my collection!
