Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I'm from a small picturesque town in northern England and I love to travel and explore new places. I''m also interested in photography, learning foreign languages and writing my travel blog.

When I discovered Postcrossing, I knew instantly it was something I wished to be part of as when I was a child I had many penfriends from around the world. I was so excited when a letter bearing a foreign stamp dropped through my letter box and inside the envelope I would often find small photos, stamps or bookmarks tucked into the letter. I am still in contact with several of my penfriends but nowadays we communicate via email - much quicker but nothing like as magical as finding an airmail envelope on the door mat.

I'm looking forward to receiving a collection of postcards from all corners of the world but will also derive just as much pleasure from selecting my own postcards, adding a message and posting them to other postcrossers. I prefer postcards with views of the sender's home town / area but if that's unavailable I'll happily settle for a card of your choice. Please write a few lines on the card introducing yourself, perhaps letting me know your hobbies, about your job and where you like. I also collect stamps so if you could affix some interesting ones I would be very pleased.
