My name is Julia. I live really near Kyiv.

My country has been suffering from russian aggression for 2 years now. My family and I lived in the basement for several months at the beginning of the war. But we didn't give up and that only made us stronger.

Two years ago.
It's very early morning on the 24th of February 2022. Today is my birthday. Our whole family is sleeping soundly in anticipation of the celebration, for I am 45 years old.
A blast, another blast, another ...! My husband and I jump up with the same question: what is it? And then the phones start bursting with texts, calls.... It was kind of surreal. I remembered a computer game- strategy and the phrase that sounded there: we were attacked!!!! How I wish it was a bad dream after a prolonged computer game. But for 2 years now, this has been our reality.
Today is my birthday again, I'm already 47. The amount of evil that the aggressor has created during this time cannot be calculated in numbers, much less feelings and emotions. How many lives have been ruined, how many territories destroyed. How sharply our children have grown up. I now understand why my grandparents did not like to talk about the war, the one they lived through. I won't like to talk about it later either.

I heartily thank all those who help us!

But I want to address those who are: "tired"; "this is not our conflict"; " how much can we help, give them what they want"; etc.

Remember, one day you may wake up early in the morning thinking: we are under attack!
And that morning may be last.....
Evil must be stopped!

I like cats, planets, stars, zodiac, astrology. Favorites on the wall, postcards that I also like. But I will be glad to receive any cards now.
