I am a Finnish middle aged woman, a social worker and a mother of two teen-age boys. Working and family life are the most important things in my life. I live in the countryside in a small village where nothing happens! (That may be a good thing, considering the state of affairs in the world). I love cats (we have three), knitting and reading.

I love J.R.R Tolkien's books, the music of Sting and the series The Walking Dead.

When I was younger I traveled in Europe by train (inter-rail, if you know). In last years, I have mostly only traveled in Finland's neighbouring countries. I am very interested in different languages and life in other countries. I dream that some day I have again the possibility to travel for example to Canada, UK, France and Italy. Until then I wish I can get a glimpse in life in different corners of the world through postcrossing!

I like many kinds of postcards, for example: art, animals, funny characters, poems (preferably translated, if in languages I cannot understand), something typical to your home country... I would appreciate also cards that children have made themselves. Anyway, all kinds of cards are very welcome!
