I live in Tucson, Arizona. I am a retired attorney. I am 72 years old. If you don't want to read any further, that's fine. Just look at the following for a nice video tour of my town:
My interests are stamp collecting and classic cars particularly Chrysler products. My profile picture shows me cleaning my 1972 Dodge Charger at a local car show. I am the original owner of this car and I enjoy showing it.
I am married. We have no children but we do like cats. I'd like cards of anything particular to your country or any cards showing cars or motor vehicles of any type or any cards showing cats but any card subject is fine. When you write, please tell me a little about yourself.
Any type of card is welcome: actual postcards, handmade cards, odd-sized cards, cards made out of things other than paper, etc. just so long as it is something can go through the postal service without being put in an outer envelope. I am not one of those in-your-face types who won't register anything that isn't a real postcard or one of those anal retentives who has a 16-page list of acceptable and nonacceptable subjects--you know, those people whose profile reads like the specifications for a Boeing 787. Nor am I one of those people who asks you to spend your valuable time researching through some favorites or some other source and then try to figure out some common theme so you can send something I might like. I'm not a mindreader and I don't expect other people to be mindreaders either!
I have only three requests. First request: please do not send cards in outer mailing envelopes. I like to see the actual postal markings on the cards. Second request: Please do not make any comments about the political situation in the United States. I get enough such commentary here and frankly I'm tired of hearing criticisms of our President from people who don't live here. I don't criticize the political leaders of other countries. If YOU wish to make comments about the politics of YOUR country please feel free to do so. Third Request: PLEASE LEAVE THE BOTTOM 1/2 INCH OF YOUR CARD BLANK. THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE PLACES A BAR CODE THERE.
If you get a card from me it will be typewritten. I have a medical condition that makes my handwriting illegible. I'm not trying to be unfriendly and I do try to personalize my cards!
Thank you and Happy Postcrossing!!
