I am retired from leading youth development programs for 35 years in a metropolitan area.
I now live with my wife in a rural area surrounded by woods and wetlands.
I enjoy watching and identifying the variety of wildlife living around us; deer, fox, coyote, ground hog, fox, turkey, pheasant, grouse, eagles, osprey, songbirds, swans etc.
I love to grow flowers and vegetables in my garden. I donate fresh vegetables to the food shelf in our small town.
I like to carve figures from wood. I have carved 60 Nativity sets and have sold most of them.
I also enjoy making Ukrainian eggs (pysanka).
Summers here are warm and sometimes hot. During winter the ground is frozen hard and many times the air is very very cold.
