Welcome to our World!
Hello to all Postcrossing members!

We are the Moreira Family, we're an eclectic, eco family and we try to be as self sufficient as possible and we also homeschool our son.
We live in a quiet rural area, approximately 10 miles from a main town, in the region of Dumfries and Galloway, in the South West coast of Scotland.
The winter is long and cold with lots of rain and sometimes snow and the summer days are not long enough or hot enough, however we feel blessed to live in the most beautiful corner of this Country. It's Heaven on Earth.

We joined this wonderful group of people quite a few years ago.
It's very interesting and enjoyable being in contact with people from all over the world.

We enjoy the whole experience of Postcrossing. It's a learning world. Who? Where to? Where from? How many miles/kms?
Writing a postcard is always fun, the space is limited and we have lots to say, but somehow we always manage to say it all, and finally the excitement of receiving your postcard.

We try to accommodate everyone by choosing every card according to everyone's likes or wishes.

We welcome all your postcards, let your heart pick the postcard and post it with love:)

We are home educators and we do use your postcards as points of reference in the home lessons.

Or you could send us something from our "Favourites" as we use our "Favourites" as a wishlist for postcards we have not received.

The topics mentioned above are only intended as a guide line.

We say "No Thank You" to postcards that are:
Offensive, Zoos and Caged Animals, Snakes, Slugs, Spiders and other Creepy Crawlies.
We hope we have not offended anyone with our small "No Thank You" list.

Please write more than a few words or as many lines on the postcard as you can, no need for envelopes as we quite like the travelled look, however if you prefer to send the postcard in a envelope that is alright with us too, your choice matters.

We prefer View cards, Map cards and "Greetings From" cards from country of origin please.
