Hi Postcrossers!

My name is Monique, I'm 19 years old and I live in Apeldoorn, a lil' Dutch town in the middle/east of Holland :D

Some of my hobbies are reading, yoga and being creative! I love writing, painting and photography!

I have a huge love for the English language. I've been wanting to learn it since I was little. In my surroundings, there are not a lot of people to speak English to, so I thought Post Crossing would be the perfect platform to keep up with my English skills, pursue my writing passion and connect with people all over the world!

If you don't know what kind of postcard you should send me maybe this will help:
- Books
- Abstract art
- Things that make no sense at all
- Culture
- K-pop, mostly BTS, Ateez, Stray Kids, BlackPink & Itzy!
- Cards that YOU like, and please tell me why!
- Cards with motivational and positive messages/quotes
- Cards by Ila Illustrations (I love her designs!)

Of course, I'd be happy with every postcard I receive.

If you don't know what to write on your postcard, maybe this will help:
- Tell me something about yourself; Who are you? What's your personality like? How do you spend your days? What are your goals in life? etc. I'm really interested in people and their personality :)
- I love motivational people and quotes! You can write your favorite quote on the card and please tell me what it means to you! Or tell me you're life motto or a life lesson you've learned! Or tell me about somebody who inspires you the most and why!
- Tell me what you've done today, how did your day look like and how did you feel during those activities?

Please do write something on the card. I'm more interested in the writing on the back than the kind of card. Please skip the lonely 'happy postcrossing' messages :)

I'm interested in direct swaps! I'd love to have penpals and friends around the world! If you're interested, you can write your social media name on the card or send me a message! That way, we can start writing letters to each other now and then, I'd love that!

Please don't forget to write the date on the card when you send it!
