Hi, I am a just retired teacher in the United States of America. I have two children; my son, who lives in Tennessee with his wife,and my grandson and my daughter who lives in Virginia. I love to send and receive postcards with lots of color. I was a teacher of French and Spanish to American students and I loved it! Different countries and cultures are very interesting to me.
My travels have been to Europe, but I would like eventually to visit more countries. I have seen Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal (during the World's Fair), the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium and Canada (for my 60th birthday).
Sending and receiving postcards is a great way for me to enjoy pictures as well as what other people enjoy. Write something about yourself, your family, your hopes and dreams...or anything that speaks to you...do you like movies, books, art, animals???? Whatever you like, I will enjoy hearing about.
