My name is Marieke Jurrius and I'm living in a small town in the east of the Netherlands. Together with my husband I have 3 daughters and we live at an organic farm.
I work as a midwife, a job I love to do day and night ;)

I would be happy with every postcard you choose for me. But when you need some inspiration:
- All kinds of food and recipe cards especially special in your country
- Black and white cards
- Culture: costumes, dance, cooking
- Animals: storks (for me as a midwife a bird with a special symbol) or flamingo (the favorite animal of our youngest daughter).
- Mother/child care in your country
- Farming; especially landscape views

If you don't have a postcard of any of the things, send a postcard that you think is beautiful.

I'm very interested in the mother and child care in other countries. Maybe you can write me something about a special tradition around birth or a newborn. Is there a special party or something special you eat or drink when a baby is born?
Is there something I should come and see in your country or area?
