About Svetlana...

Hi, my name is Svetlana. I'm a pharmacist from Saint-Petersburg, Russia.

"What else could one person ever give another apart from a little warmth? And what was more than that?"
When you are going to send a card to me, please look at this site www.sendkidstheworld.com and also send a card to one of the sick children to brighten their day.
I also hope you can copy this website on your profile to let more people know this! Thank you so much for doing this.

It will be nice to get any postcard, but I'll appreciate if you choose:
- folk costumes, ethnic patterns
- raccoons
- Simkaye Coon comic, Cats Are Weird comic
- steampunk, pocket watch, old clocks
- old architectural details (doors, stained-glass windows, locks, keys, fireplaces, gates, stairs, lanterns, gargoyle, chimera, etc)
- water-color city views/ landscapes, especially autumn
- Alice in Wonderland
- Benjamin Lacombe, Lostfish, Suzanne Woolcott (Gorjuss) and similar art
- flower fairies of Cicely Mary Barker
- folk-tales creatures
- vikings
- black cats, pumpkins and Halloween themes (even not in the season)
- national food, berries, mashrooms
- buddist temples
- chemistry and pharmacy
- retro, vintage
- old tent circus, dark theatre, abandoned amusement parks
- weird and strange things, dreamcatchers
- corsets, old sewing machines, feathers, fabrics, other sewing stuff
- botanical illustrations (esp. thistle and similar plants), insect illustrations
- old books, typewriters
- cityviews, landscapes and nature of your country (multiviews are welcome)

DIY cards are also welcome, esp watercolor/ graphic/ card made from used stamps.

And as many people I like beautiful and unusual stamps.

I will be grateful if you write something more than "Greetings from ...". I love when it is written a lot! Unwritten cards or cards with just one phrase make me really sad.
You can tell me about your day/ your favourite colour and song/ your pet, write a fact about your country, advice your favoutire book or poem, write a recipe of your favourite dish (desserts are especially welcome), draw something or tell a story from your own life. Also you could write me some words/phrases in your mother-tongue with translation.

Si usted es hispanohablante, escríbame en español, por favor.

Please put a date, temperature and weather sign on the card.

Happy Postcrossing,
Svetlana.
