About Michi...

Hello out there :-) ,

my name is Michaela (short Michi), I'm 41 years old and I'm married with two children (daughter 14, son 12). We live in a small village in Germany and I'm working as an educator in a kindergarten.
My English is not very good, because I haven't used it for more than 20 years (but now I can update when I support the kids with their English for school).

I'm a very huge "Doctor Who"/Peter Capaldi fan! :-) (Yes, also at my age^^) I like this tv-series very much (actually the whole family loves DW, but different Doctors :-) ), movies, music, playing guitar and synthesizer(keyboard)/electr. organ, reading (especially horror-novels like "Ghosthunter John Sinclair", Stephen King, etc. but also a lot of other themes), penpals/snailmail, reading and watching all about the UK (we love this country), sawing with scroll saw, acting (but only at little local theatre-events of our village), gardening, papercrafting (especially origami/kirigami), baking themed-things for gifts, trips with my family, digital photography, meeting friends, ....

On the postcards all is appreciate that you will send to me!
But if you need a little bit inspiration, here are some suggestions:

- landscapes (especially from where you live)
- vintage/old pics, 50's, 60's, 70's, ...
- Doctor Who (or also other tv-series/movies)
- "Keep calm and .... " cards
- fruits, cakes, drinks, tasty recipes from your country, etc.
- quotes in your native language (perhaps with a translation :-) )
- creepy pics ;-)
- old churches, cathedrals, castles, ruins, manors, mansions, palaces, royal manors, etc.
- postcards from all things/peoples/buildings/fashion/etc. of the UK
- Season-Cards (Xmas, Halloween, Birthday, Easter, etc.)

I'm very excited of using postcrossing and I'm looking forward to get many different kinds of postcards!! :-)

Greetings from Germany,
Michi
