Hello,

We are primary 6 at Brimmond School in Aberdeen. Our teacher Miss Fraser set up this account so that we can learn about countries all over the world. We are all aged 9 or 10 and get very excited when we receive a postcard. Sometimes we make our own postcards and sometimes we get a postcard from our teacher and we research what is on the front.

We love all the cards we receive but we are especially interested in cards that tell us more about the area they are from. We also like cards with a science theme or a sports theme especially the Olympics, Winter Olympics, Commonwealth Games or other big events such as the World Cup. We also love a postcard that tells a story. If we get postcards with famous art on the postcard we can learn more about famous art and the artists. We don't mind if your postcard comes in a envelope with a nice surprise. We are loving learning all about the different countries of the world.

Please tell us something interesting about where you are from, something about seasonal festivals, a few words in your own language with a translation or anything else you think we would find interesting.

We are always pleased to see an interesting stamp :)
