Hello folks!

My name is Veronika and I'm a 21-year-old student from the capital city Vilnius. I study German and Norwegian languages at Vilnius University. Therefore, I would love to find pen-pals in Germany and Norway. Feel free!

VERONIKA DRAWS:
Mostly illustration works done either with colored pencils, watercolor or pastel. My most inspiring artists are Norman Rockwell, René Magritte, Vincent van Gogh and Claude Monet.

VERONIKA LOVES LISTENING TO:
British rock mostly! Stuff like The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Queen, Jethro Tull. More to add to the playlist: R.E.M., Eric Clapton, Bjork, Devendra Banhart, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Madonna, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, The White Stipes.
I also enjoy Polish rock a lot, so maybe people from Poland could send me something about it or tell me what particular bands they like or would suggest me. Dżem, Republika, Lao Che, Perfect, Budka Suflera... – I love them all!

A FEW OF VERONIKA'S FAV THINGS:
I love taking photographs (I dream about a professional camera), reading books, making origami cranes, spending weekends in the nature, going to concerts and festivals, reading scientific magazines, travelling, making handmade crafts, whistling imitating birds... I also enjoy learning different languages and communicating with people around the world:) I have a huge collection of movies and I personaly love to watch non-Hollywood ones. Moreover, I am interested in astronomy, so it would be a blast to hear from think-alikes!

VERONIKA'S MAILBOX IS HAPPY TO RECEIVE:
single-view postcards ONLY. I prefer cards with artistic photography, black & white pictures, drawings, paintings, illustration works, retro/vintage photos, night-sky or cards showing your national costume. I would be extremelly happy to receive pictures of bunad from Norway! I also adore HQ cards with a landscape or city skyline. My mailbox jumps up and down to get a NICELY STAMPED postcard as well. Deeelicious!

I put every single piece of my heart when choosing a card and I feel upset to find a cheap design or a cute card showing kittens and puppies - these can be sent from nearly anywhere! So please don't send me ad/free cards, multiple picture cards. I say YAY for NO ENVELOPES!
