To be part of this community is still a great joy for me, being a member for 4 years now. I have been collecting postcards nearly all my life , having begun in early childhood.

My main interest is primarily focused on getting cards from cities / towns/ villages where you are living - yes , even little places that nobody knows except the inhabitant himself . And then : nature views, landscapes, rural scenes ( look at my wall !!!) , woodland and pastures, old houses , typical buildings and sights ...
Folklore, traditional handicraft , festivities, Olympic sites, main sportive trails and stades , esp. biathlon, Alpine skiing and football/ soccer.

My favorite wall is a mix of received cards and those I'm still hoping for. Please check the cards I've already got from your country in order to avoid duplicates. My collection is sorted by continents, countries , provinces and so on. I would love cards that make me discover your country / state.

And please : NO KING SIZE CARDS !!! I prefer normal size ( DIN A6, 105X148) this is for storage purposes.

I'm not so keen on meeting and greeting cards ( Christmas, Easter),fun and cartoon, mangas or manhuas, flower bouquets, wise words or slogans, Send them to people who love them.

DE : bitte keine Harenberg-Karten und nicht mehr HH, HB, B, H, und M. Ich hab so viele davon, dass die neuen Karten mir einfach leid tun.

J : I'd like cards from the famous red-faced macaques or " snow monkeys " in their natural icy environment.
But of course , you decide what you are going to send and if you don't like my " instructions" or wishes disregard them.

To Russia : I have plenty of cards from Moscow and St. Petersburgh , please send me other cities or beautiful landscapes from your country.
