About Barbara...

Hello World! :)

I'm Barbara and I live in a small village in Northern Bavaria, Germany. My husband was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, USA, and we try to visit his family and friends and travel the States as often as we can.

Other than traveling, I like fitness, photography, reading, playing poker, and being creative (writing, crochet, papercrafting, etc.). And since "we happen to live in the golden age of television" (quote Sheldon Cooper), I'm pretty busy keeping up with my favorite TV-Shows: The Big Bang Theory, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and Nashville.

Talking about Nashville: Country Music is my passion, especially the older stuff or Alternative Country, Red Dirt Country, Rockabilly, etc.

Maybe you've already picked out my card. If not, here's a random list of cards I like:

- Picture postcards from your area (I like single view best)
- Water, skies, roads, and bridges
- Hatch Show Prints
- Poker/Playing Cards
- Anything Vintage USA: old Hollywood, Vintage Vegas, Route 66, Coca Cola, Jukeboxes, Diners, Records...
- Classic Cars
- Anything music related
- Numbers, letters, words and quotes
- Street Art and Signs
- and cards from Postallove/"Greetings from... " - So far I've only got Ireland (thank you Nora!), USA (thank you Carol!), and Italy (thank you Matia!), so that would really make my day! (Please from the country where you actually live!)

Please check out my favorites, too - these are cards I've seen and fell in love with on Postcrossing but haven't received myself yet. So please forgive me, if I don't mark received cards as a favorite, I don't want to mix those with the "wishlist" - I'm gonna love your card anyway, because you were writing it with me in mind :) So I'd be happy, if you wrote some personal lines, like:
- what is your idea of happiness?
- when was the last time you did something for the first time? what was it?
- who or what inspires you?
- which quote or saying do you like?
- what's your personal "theme-song" and why?
or anything else that's on your mind.

I'd love to read from you soon!

Happy Postcrossing,

Barbara
