About Marina...

Dear Gerda or Greta or someone with G, that is from Netherlands, can you send me your ID once again, please!
I got your card some days ago but my niece 'helped' me and I can't find the card for some time now. I want to register it!
_
My name is Marina and I live in Belarus.
I am a teacher of English and a web designer :)

I am fond of poetic translations of song lyrics from English and French into Russian and also I have some pieces that are from Russian into English. I love anything creative like picture editing, drawing and decorating, photography, skrupbooking, knitting. I love shopping, travelling, gardening, cooking.

If you need inspiration here is my list of favourites:
♥ BIRDS! (especially photos)(птичек фауны Беларуси тоже люблю)
♥ MAPS! especially with COFFEE
♥ FOOD; especially desserts, cakes, macaroons
♥ CUPS (with tea, coffee, empty ... )
♥ Maximum cards (or Maxicards)
♥ mushrooms
♥ vintage/ retro/ sepia
♥ Unesco World Heritage Sites
♥ cards with humor
♥ sea sand, seashells
♥ shaped cards
♥ beautiful nature or city views
♥ Donald Zolan
♥ Zhang Weimang
♥ Susan Wheeler
♥ Ken Showell
♥ Willem Haenraets
♥ Nataliorion
♥ работы Натальи Четковой (Chetkova)
♥ ~ Ирины Смирновой (Smirnova)
♥ ~ Анастасии Еременко (Yeryomenko)
♥ ~ Анны Жандарович (Zhandarovich)
♥ historical things or characters or famous people from your city (esp. if you write some words about them)
♥ an interesting photo (connected with postcrossing :)) or funny painting
♥ any cards if you can't find any like these; a card from where you are from or where you live is always WONDERFUL :D

They can be written and stamped cards or cards in envelopes.

You may stick a TICKET of your local transport if it is possible. It's very interesting! I collect them.
Also I'm interested in STAMPS. So, if you have nice, beautiful stamps, would be great to see them on your card ;-)

If you've got a stamp EUROPA (CEPT) I would be happy to get it on the card (or in the envelope, it's up to you).
Like these: http://europa-stamps.blogspot.com/

Also will be grateful for some lines in everybody’s native language. For example, you can greet me and write my name.

I don't appreciate unwritten blank cards.
Ideas about what to write:
* a few things about yourself or what are you doing while writing to me :)
* a recipe of traditional food of your country;
* a poem in your mothertongue if it suitable to the card (add a translation into English, please)
* about your country, typical things that have a special meaning in your country/region, about you city or village
* draw me something

If you like drawing and can'l live without decorating your texts on the postcards with all this special stuff (stickers, stamps, etc.) you may freely use them! :) I don't mind. I think it would be nice!

Please write date and weather conditions on your card.
Thank you very much!
