Hello,
my name is Miriam and I'm from Hamburg, in the north of Germany. Hamburg is famous for its big harbour (it's one third of the city's size!), the many rivers and lakes and a lot of green parks. I love living here. At the moment I'm living in Goettingen, where I started University (Linguistics and Social Anthropology).

I enjoy playing, writing and listening to music, Scouting, nature, photography and learning foreign languages. I always send postcards when I'm on holiday, but I rarely get sent cards. That's why I think Postcrossing is a really cool idea.
I like postcards
- that are / show something old
- with interesting/beautiful places from your city/country
- with cool architecture
- with pictures of nature

If you don't know what to write, just tell me a a bit about yourself, what you like to do, your favourite band/song or something interesting about your country or city - I'd love to learn about life in other countries.
It would be wonderful if you could teach me some words in your language - something useful that a person visiting your country should know, or maybe a word that only people in your city/region say!

If you're from Russia or Spain, I'd be happy to receive the postcard in Russian or Spanish :-)
