Our family lives in Michigan. My husband and I have 3 children, 2 of which are adults. We have 4 grandchildren. Our family likes to Kayak together. We also love to visit Port Huron to watch the ocean ships pass through our Great Lakes.

Our profile pic is down the hill from us. Our city originally was only around the lake with access to each other mainly by boat. A train from Detroit stopped at the lake in those days, as this was the vacation place for Detroit people. Detroit is where the 1st cars were built, so with that more roads were made, the train doesn't come through here now.

Michigan gets a lot of snow, though our city gets less than the rest of the state, I believe due to the many small lakes that stabilize our temperatures a bit more than other places in Michigan. We have 4 distinct seasons. Winter with snow starting in the Fall and ending in the Spring(winter weather is long). Fall has multi-colored leaves on the trees. Summer is hot and we have flowers and green grass. Spring is that in-between season of snow leaving and summer trying to emerge, it can be cold or warm, tulips start to come up.
