About Ruth...

βœ‹ Hello dear Postcrossing-friends around the world, welcome to my profile on this marvelous website!

Postcrossing for me is a way to travel, connecting to other people and to see the world, all these places, which unfortunately I can never visit and so much information that I would never hear otherwise.
It´s not only receiving and collecting cards... it´s about sharing a part of yourself with the world.
And it´s about putting a smile on a face you never get to meet.
It makes my day.

EACH card is a surprise and makes me smile. You can choose what you want. Receiving a postcard and reading your message on it is like getting a little gift. I enjoy it very much!
Please... write to me a little bit more than just "happy postcrossing". Getting an empty postcard is so.... disappointing. πŸ™
I'm happy about everything you write to me. The more the better. πŸ˜ƒ

From rare countries (ID with 5 or less digits) I would be overjoyed to receive cards that are typical for your country and if the name of the country stands on the front it would be perfect.

Otherwise, I like cards with coats of arms, flags, maps, nature and frogs. ;o)

On the *Favourites* wall you can see postcards that I would like to receive - it would make me very, very happy if I got them one day. Maybe you have a postcard of it, or a similar? ( it´s a kind of wish list but not a must!)
You can see my Favourite postcards on the *Received*- postcards wall πŸ˜‰

The different languages and fonts of the world are very fascinating for me. Write in your native language "Hello" and "Have a nice day" on the postcard. Or write a quote or your philosophy of life on the card (but with translation, please). I will enjoy it.

I prefer cards without envelopes and if possible only from your country and it would be nice if you WRITE THE DATE and the current weather on the card.

And please, WRITE YOUR NAME (real and/or Postcrossing-Name) on the card. If I can´t decipher the ID because it was overprinted by the postmark, damaged, or forgotten , it's easier to find you on the search page.
If possible, please send me cards 10x15 cm. So I can put them in my scrapbooks.

Thanks for taking the time to read my profile and write me. I can't wait to see your card in the mail! πŸ“¬

Happy Postcrossing! πŸ€—

Who searches for beautiful postcards. Look here: https://www.danacards.de/ All proceeds will be donated to charity projects!πŸ‘

Expired cards: Too many!
Sometimes I have the feeling that only the cards that please the recipient, are reported. 😒
