About Mila...

Hello dear friends!
My name is Mila, I'm 38 years old (my birthday is on the 23rd of December). Born in the "southern capital" of Russia, the big city Rostov-on-Don, but in 2012 I moved to the "northern capital" - Saint-Petersburg, IMHO the most beautiful city of our country :)

I'm married, have an impudent red cat Tisha. I love singing (especially rock and extreme) reading and travelling. My biggest dream is to travel all my life.

Currently I change my professional path and work as freelance web-developer. Formerly I've worked also in sales, as radio-DJ and pedagogue :)

I'm a feminist, stand against violence, war, xenophobia and discrimination of any kind.

I like foreign languages, so I'll be very thankful if you write some words in your native language! Wenn Sie Deutsch sprechen, schreiben Sie bitte auf Deutsch, ich würde mich darauf sehr freuen!

*** Theme of the month: do you lke travelling? tell me about your most impressive travel **"

I passionately love postcrossing and collect post-cards about following themes:

music and musical instruments (I play guitar, piano, ukulele, domra);
anime, manga and cosplay (oriental culture generally as well);
maritime themes (anchors, shells, waves, steer wheels etc.);
cats (red coloured are especially welcome);
books, words and alphabetic character;
ecology and environmentalism;
flying houses and cities;
geographical maps;
post-apocalyptic;
traveling theme;
trains and railway stations;
bicycles;
luggage bags;
lighthouses;
postboxes, postal theme;
aerostats, zeppelins;
pinnipeds;
steampunk;
mountains;
scouting;
tramways;
giraffes;
folkways;
mail-art;
dip pens;
bridges;
beavers;
clocks;
radio theme;
ships and boats.
I also collect funny grannies by Inge Löök (already in my collection: https://disk.yandex.ru/d/jBN4E0_VB11hVw), paintings of Pre-Raphaelites, Moomins, Harry Potter, Tolkien and Star Wars cards.

But if you send me something based on your own preferences, I also will be very happy! Your choice is also a part of you and I respect it!

Please don't put your card into an envelope, I think in this case it loses a wonderful spirit of postcrossing! Thank you also for beautiful stamps!

I always scan (or photo) all the cards I send and receive for the postcard wall and always try to attach picturesque and ornamental (sometimes also commemorative) stamps.

Nice to meet you all and happy postcrossing!
