My name is Mila, I come from a small country in South-Eastern Europe called Moldova. Actually I do Master studies in “Linguistics of Germanic Languages”, so I’m obviously interested in other languages, cultures, customs, and habits, whatever…
My hobbies are:
- Reading (Albert Camus, Erich Maria Remarque, Haruki Murakami, Alexander Pushkin, Bulgakov, Balzac, Maupassant, O. Henry, Hemingway, …);
- Cinema (Pedro Almodovar, Tom Tykwer, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Woody Allen, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Tarantino, Radu Mihaileanu, Xavier Bardem, Gael Garcia Bernal, Til Schweiger, Kate Winslet, Marion Cotillard, ….);
- Music (Depeche Mode, Muse, Moby, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Gogol Bordello, Placebo, Robbie Williams, George Michael, The Killers, Kings of Convenience, 2Raumwohnung, Wir sind Helden, Sportfreunde Stiller, Les Enfoires, Calogero, Brainstorm, Darren Hayes, Zemfira, … );
- Photojournalism and everything connected to it;
- Old Russian cartoons (they are all brilliant, can’t say the same about modern cartoons).
I do not have restrictions regarding the postcards, but I would love to receive:
- Cards with awesome views of your home country (nature, buildings, etc.)
- Cards displaying sea, ocean, river, lake…water in general
- Cards with birds (I love swallows and parrots)
- Art cards
- Cards with coffee
- Cards with some ironic inscriptions or images
- Purple cards (purple is my colour :)
- Vintage style cards
I will be extremely happy to receive birthday cards in September.=)
Finally, I would like to read as more as possible from the card – it can be info about you, about place, it can even be a nice quotation that suits the card.
