About Jaroslav...

Hello everyone,
A little bit about me... I live in central Bohemia, in a small village with history dating back to 1321 and only cca 1200 inhabitants. Here is a link with a snapshot of the village: http://www.virtualtravel.cz/export/bysice/ . It’s located cca 50 km far from Prague and about 35 Km from a district town - Mlada Boleslav, the home of Skoda cars brand.
I have many hobbies, amongst others pthotography, hunting, scuba diving and volleyball. I was an international voleyball referee for quite a long time and today I have the funtion of technical delegate / supervisor for the European Volleayball Confederation (CEV). The next big hobby of mine – hunting, nowadays mostly means taking care of the animals, especially feeding them in winter times. I own a small forrest where I have installed a feeding ‚equipment‘ for the wild animals and I make sure they don’t struggle during the harsh winters.
About eleven years ago, I started to do scuba-diving and taking pictures of the underwater world. Photography is my big passion since my childhood and I’m very lucky I can also combine it with fascinating underwater world. Last but not least I also collect post stamps and recently I also started to map the family tree.
In my spare time I like to read books and in general discover new things. Postrocssing means for me another new discovery and a new challenge. I live in Czech Republic and I like our countryside, towns and history. In case you don‘t know a lot about our small country, you can watch a short video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vt5B64tjZSg
I’d be very happy if you send me postcards of your cities, towns, nature, animals, personalities or any other interesting themes. Please always remember to write a date on the postcard. If I may choose, I prefer postcards sized 10 x 15 cm as all the received postcards are saved in my special dedicated postcrossing album.
Happy postcrossing ... :-)

Jaroslav
