Update: I will be unable to send out post cards from Afghanistan until further notice as the local post office has closed. I am working on finding another means of continuing with PostCrossing in the future.
I am currently deployed in Afghanistan working under the NATO Forces as a K9 Handler. As I enjoy traveling the world on my vacations or R&R I enjoy sending Postcards home so I can enjoy my travels upon my return. Being in a war zone I am limited on the styles of postcards that I can get but I have access to them. At least you will receive a postcard from an interesting place. I like nature, city/land scape postcards. Please let me know your city and a little about yourself.
As I appreciate all the requests for direct swaps of postcards, over 120 so far, I would like to only send out post cards to people that postcrossing.com provides me with their address and postcard coding. If I did a direct swap with everyone's request I would never be away from the post office. Thanks for understanding. Even with this said I still get numerous request on a weekly basis. Please be considerate as having less than 100 postcards sent/received in my opinion isn't being patient and willing to wait.
Thanks and hope you enjoy your postcard!!
