About Basia...

I'm Basia and I live in beautiful village in Poland among trees and river.
Poland is best known for the Pope (John Paul II), Lech Wałęsa, who received the Nobel Peace Prize, amber (you can pick them up on our beaches by the sea).
We also have some of the best vodkas :).
National dishes are bigos (dish consisting of sauerkraut and white cabbage, various types of meats, sausages, onions, dried mushrooms and plums, raisins, apples, red wine, tomatoes and many spices); dumplings mostly with cabbage and mushrooms stuffing or fruit; tomato soup and broth soup. People in Poland love potatoes in every form.
Our country is beautiful, we have sea, mountains; lots of greenery, fields, wonderful landscapes and sights. The curiosity is that it is cheap compared to other countries and it is really worth to visit our country.
I'm running a business with my husband in which I'm an accountant. I really like animals so I have three cats, two dogs, fishes and one snail. :-) In the free time I'm reading books, I also like cooking. I'll be happy if you will write recipe of your favourite or national dish :)
I like listening to music (I love big concerts!), especially it's rock and progressive rock.
I'm also interested in sewing on a machine. I like to sew clothes for my daughter, sometimes for myself :)

Happy postcrossing!
