About Miranda...

Hello postcrosser!
Here is some information about me, maybe you would like to read before you sent your card:

My name is Miranda. I am married since 2012 and we have 2 children. A girl, Carmein, born in 2012 and a boy, Veyron, born in 2013, they're just 14 months apart. I work as a pharmacist's technician, for over 16 years now.
My husband travels the world, he works as a chief mate on a hopper-dredger, and I like to get postcards from all over the world. This started years ago when he worked for the Dutch Royal Navy and we had to write to keep in touch. I kept all the cards he wrote me. And with postcrossing I can write even more cards.

We have a dog, named Hopper, he's a Great Dane. I like to go for a walk with my dog and kids and enjoy the beautiful nature we have.
I like to knit, and crochet. I am making a lot of things, amigurumi and at this moment a throw.
I also made the curtains and pillow covers for our mobile home.

And I like to find postcards in my mailbox, you can send me anything,
but if you do need some help, I like :
-VW beetle. I even have this car tattooed on my back...
-nightly sky; moon, stars
-zodiac signs and horoscopes
-pictures of food
-all kinds of cakes and cupcakes.
-all Disney figures, especially Tigger.
-animal pictures that are a bit different. Such as a cat cuddling a mouse.
-tourist cards from your town or country
-buildings or places typical for the place you live
-3D or a different shape
-pictures with a view
-pictures/ photographs that made you laugh (please tell me why)
-pictures of places where you have been / are (tell me about it)
-Surprise me with anything you love! And tell me why you like it.
-Birthday Cards from half November till end December.
And Christmas cards are also welcome in December.

***But I like everything I receive!!***

You can also tell me fun facts if you know one. Like this one:
-Every time you lick a stamp, you're consuming 1/10 of a calorie.-
In some weird way, I like te know these things, and I happen to remember them all... Why? I don't know...

I would really appreciate to read some words in your own language. Offcourse with a translation in English, so i understand what it says. :-)

Looking forward to receive your card!
With love, Miranda.
