I am living in Wageningen, a city in the east of the Netherlands.
Wageningen has 36.000 inhabitants, 8000 of wich are students of the Wageningen University. This university is famous worldwide for its agricultural studies. The university also attracks many students from abroad. Therefore, circa 165 nationalities are living in Wageningen.

I am a writer of childeren’s books. I have written 75 books, some of wich have been translated in foreign lanquages.
In addition, I also painting.

One of my hobbies is gardening. I like it to sow my own flowers. Sunflowers are my favourites, because they are always looking for the sunside, just as I try to do.

I like cards with:
