Greetings from China.

I’m Tacia and recently live in Beijing. I work as a Chinese teacher for more than 6 years.
For last ten years or so I’ve been collecting postcards from friends and myself. And I joined this postcrossing project in 2013. (As you see my amount of sent and received cards are tiny, because this is the ‘youngest’ account I have XD I’m kind of not a single-minded person. lol )

Since 2021, I’m with my little cat Chen. He is a 2 y.o. boy. His whole body is white, looks like a small white lion. I always love all felis and will never reject a postcard or any other things about them! (Cats, kitten, wild cats, including big ones such as a tiger, a lion or a leopard etc., and any cat Cartoon characters)

I love music too. Before this corona things, I went to music lives a lot. it can be a very large concert in hall or stadium or just a live show in a pub.
Also I like to go to theater for a drama shows. Since 2021, I watched more dramas than music lives. I love to feel the actors’ emotion and performance up close.

One of my hobbies that might be ‘special’ is to take railway transit. Trains, subways, trams all fascinate me. With the age and times developing, speed and amenity seem more and more important. That made me enjoy airplanes too.

I love to travel of course. I like to send myself a postcard from a remote place. sometime they arrive my mailbox earlier than myself. I like to visit magical nature landscapes and observe animals in the nature, especially different birds.
I 'd love to receive a postcard with any kind of birds ❤
BUT landscapes or tourist cards are NOT that attractive for me. I think it's good to see them with my eyes if I have a chance. Leave them to friends who like them:)

I’m a big fan of tattoos! Well... though sleeve tattoo is a little hard to achieve now (because of my work) , I did many small pieces on both my upper arms. The latest one is a hummingbird and flower on my left shoulder. For me it’s another way to note my life and mind, other than collecting postcard and tickets all around the world.
(Tell me your story about tattoos if you have! I’d be very willing to hear it.)

I’m also trying to study different languages. Shame on me (lol), seems I didn’t gain so much. I will appreciate if you write something in your language on the card you send to me, with English translation, please. Or you can share your experience about it!
Japanese is in process and Russian or Spanish may be next goal. (Hopefully ..)
