Good day, postcrossers!

I'm a young professional dancer in the Netherlands and I love connecting with people all over the world. I live in a city where I don't know many people, because I originally moved there for love and stayed because my heart could not handle another far away move. There's not much to do here at all, so I often travel to different places.

When I'm not dancing, I'm singing, hunting for postcards on people's wishlists or studying monologues to become a triple threat. I also love to read and write fiction. Because I am super ambitious and want to secure a future in case I'll ever be unable to dance, I am also studying to become an English and math teacher.

I welcome ALL cards, bought and self-made, because I believe generosity should always be appreciated and sending postcards can be expensive. If you pick a card that means something to you, will you please tell me why? :) I do have some preferences that you might want to choose from if you like:

* I absolutely LOVE the Beatles! But they sell no postcard merchandise of them here, so that's the number 1 on my wishlist. ;)
* Of course, anything dance suits me PERFECTLY and must go on my dressing room theater mirror!
* Don't mind my age (26); I'm obsessed with Frozen! I have so many books, comics, magazines and mugs...but no cards!
* I'm a people person and therefore any cards with people just always warm my heart. ♥
* Cards with words of wisdom are a fantastic way to lift my spirts as well. :)

I only have a few things I like less, but I will never complain if I do receive one of those. After all, you took the time to send me something! :D I'm not so much into touristy cards, commercial cards (for example: "Come visit my restaurant/B&B and get an x-amount off when you show this card) and cartoons (except Frozen!)...

If you have the time to write something,I would love to know about how you are right at THAT moment! How are you feeling? Are you looking forward to tonight/tomorrow? Is there someone or something that you admire? Has work/school tired you out and are you ready to curl up on the couch with a good movie afterwards? Are you struggling with anything in particular? Tell me anything!
