About Michelle...

Hello everyone! My name is Michelle and I live in Connecticut, in the United States. I am married, but have no children. We have 3 cats, all boys. They are quite spoiled. We lost Milton in 2021 and Winston in 2019. They were both special boys and they are missed very much.

I enjoy reading true crime, watching movies, going on day trips with my husband, writing to pen pals, and jigsaw puzzles. I’m most of all a big movie fan. I love quoting movie lines and identifying actors.

Anything and everything to do with cats is always welcome. I have probably a juvenile sense of humor and I love puns! Any play on words makes me smile, I’m an easy audience. It’s important to laugh and I find humor in most everything.

My interests include: ***Weird Al Yankovic, movies, cats, cartoons, postage stamps, ghosts/paranormal, Halloween, prisons, butterflies, Edgar Allan Poe, llamas, coffee, old buildings, creepy scenes, theaters, Alice in Wonderland, stickers, anything 1980s***

My husband and I decided to try to learn German. If you can write simple phrases in German, perhaps I can practice. I appreciate it!

I am excited to see what postcards people choose to send me and I hope I can make you smile by the ones I choose to send you. I am sorry, but I do not send blank/unwritten postcards. Isn’t part of the fun to get a message from someone around the world in their own handwriting? I think so!

*****Please remember to write the ID on the card (and date if possible) Thanks!.*****

I try to hand-write the addresses, but sometimes I cannot write the characters. If I am unable to write it, then I must use the printer to print a label.

I enjoy getting any type of postcard. Handmade ones are especially thoughtful, I love to see how creative you can be! I’m not picky as to what you send to me, as long as you like it I know I will! I love to see different stamps from all over. I try to use all different kinds when I send my postcards if I can. Thank you!

Unfortunately there has been an increase in my cards that go unregistered because people seem to abandon their accounts. I always hope that people who are no longer interested to send/receive postcards will pause their accounts so other users can send/receive with active members. I usually send a second card once it reaches 60 days, and it’s been successful a lot of the time. Expired cards make me sad. I’m sorry, but I will not register postcards I have not received.

I only put my return address on the card so it might make it back to me if it cannot be delivered, since the mail has been unreliable. It is not for a return card.

Expired cards:
2019-1 (US-6334211)
2020-2 (US-6626888, US-6626890)
2021-1 (US-7273892)
