Some infos about me : I'm Alain from Thann, originally from Munster in the Green Valley, well known for the best cow cheese worldwide.

My hobbies ? Music, music, music, all kind from everywhere.
Beside this, I collect several things : champagne and crown caps, 1:43 scale vehicles, of course stamps and postcards, coins and banknotes, beercoasters.

Another favorite hobby is hunting vehicles, so to snap some rare or special license plates. My avatar shows a registration of an airport car from Copenhagen.

I would be pleased if you'll sent a card to me. But please send ONLY A6 sized cards, NOT LARGER as 16 x 11 cm. Also I have NO interest in home made, ad's, cartoons, non-sense ... DO NOT use envelopes, tape, glue, stickers, because a postcard must look postaly normal or philatelic and not children made !

Languages are fascinating ! Please write your text only in a language and script spoken in the country of which you sent a card, matching with card motive, stamps and ID-code letters ... and even if Arabic, Chinese, Ethiopian, Inuktitut, Hebrew, Korean, Russian, Tamil, Thai, etc.

So for exemple, a London card sent from Moscow and written in french doesn't make any sense.

I'm interested in many other topics, mainly :
transport and vehicles from former USSR and generally all the eastern block (all motorized road vehicles from the smallest mopeds up to the largest carrier trucks, including normal, emergency, handicars, sport, army, and so on ...). Love all about soviet times, propaganda, monuments ...

Also I'm a fan of first nations, folklore, music, traditions, handycrafts, daily life, erotica, nude, wine, beer, castles and palaces, churches, monasteries and cimeteries, nature and natural phenomena, space, streets and avenues, famous people or not, languages and scripts.

All cards shown in my favorites would be much appreciated too.

Warning : 16 times I got a same card as a former one. To avoid other duplicates, have a short look at my registered cards.

... because many members don't register the cards, having no interest in this hobby and despite having received them. For serious members it's bad losing so many cards (and money) for that reason. Those people may use the inactive status.

And what about others who, by registering a card, don't even have the courtesy to say a single word for thanking ? Sorry for my displeasure, these are only real facts, let you meditate.
