Mertxines

Hello everybody, I am Mertxe, and I live in Badalona, a city just 10 km north of Barcelona (Spain).
I studied Art History and love art, architecture, cathedrals, nice buildings, museums, paintings, statues... I'd love to get postcards of such things if possible!
My hobbies are travelling, collecting various things...
I am good at foreign languages. Besides Spanish and Catalan (my mother tongue) I can speak fluently English, German, Italian and French.
My favourite books are mystery books, historic fiction and Harry Potter. I also still love my childhood Enid Blyton books.
I love Harry Potter films, period dramas and I am a huge fan of BBC-Sherlock.
Benedict Cumberbatch and Rupert Graves are my favourite actors!
I also love cats, Blythe dolls (I collect them)... and many other things!

I would love to receive postcards from your town or area, if possible of the sights such as nice buildings, churches, cathedrals, etc. or from your holidays place.

In December I would love to receive the typical Christmas cards (folded, in an envelope and with nice Christmas subjects on them). I used to have many penpals in the past and so I received lots of Christmas cards, but people seem to have lost that nice habit nowadays...

To the people I will send postcards: I must tell you that unfortunately it is very difficult to find postcards here that are not viewcards. I live near Barcelona and even there (a big city!) there are no places to find cards with other subjects, so probably you will get a viewcard/art card/touristic card from me. I hope that you don't mind...
