My name is Nyssa and I'm an American currently living in the, little known but very beautiful, prefecture of Fukui, Japan. I've enjoyed my life here for nearly 2 years, and now I want to start sharing it with others through postcards!

I will enjoy receiving any kind of postcard! I have many hobbies including dancing, Japanese calligraphy, and snorkeling. I'm lucky that Fukui has so much to offer!
I love food, travel, animals, nature, history, science, and more!

One thing I especially love is legends, stories, or folklore. Of course Mermaids, but any kind of legend or local story is very interesting to me! I think a lot can be learned about people and cultures by the stories they enjoy as children and as adults. Please feel free to teach me your favorite stories!
