I'm Meriem from Tunisia ☪ , precisely El Marsa. a coastal town in the far north east near the capital Tunis. It's well known for its traditional cafe "Safsaf" where there is a famous camel called "Fathia" . The cafe was named Safsaf because it has a huge willow tree inside of it , Safsaf is the arabic for willow .Also , Marsa is known for the Abdalliya palace,one of the oldest evidence of Maghrebi Muslim architecture that remained in a good state. It was built in the Hafsid Dynasty by Abu Abdallah Mohamed.
As a whole , Tunisia is a very interesting place ,It has a unique and nice mixture between many civilizations such as The Carthaginian,The Romanian,The Byzantine,The Arab Islamic....

I play guitar from time to time , I'm not actually bad at it , I played Mama Said by Metallica (well most of it,there's still a part that I found it kinda difficult),Me And My Broken Heart by Rixton(not that great haha), in addition to some arabic and tunisian songs such as Alif Ya Sultani,M'Ahla Layali Ichbilia ...

I'm still a pupil,I'm intereseted in Humanities,I like everything concerning ,Archaeology,Ethnology,History...When I grow I'd like to become an anthropologist,and even a writer why not?
I like reading novels especially the romantic ones and I adore the old black and white movies , especially the era of Omar El Sherif and Faten Hamama.

If There is something that you would like to know about my country feel free to ask ;) It is a delightable pleausre. As for the postcards I'm not requiring a specific type,except the innapropriate ones surely !! If you have any suggestions concerning novels you can mention them in the postcard.
