About Eduarda...

Hello, postcrossers of the world! :)
I am a Portuguese girl currently living in Paço de Arcos, an historical little city between Lisbon and Cascais, with my boyfriend, Mário and black cat, Shiori. Since I live near the sea, I love to stroll on the beach, where I often write, read and make my experiments on photography. Photography and Art (painting, sculpture, pottery, urban art, sketching) are two great interests of mine, and if I have time, I love to go to new exhibitions, museums, workshops, etc (even though I am no expert, I really like to feel different things and get new perspectives on life and the world through an artistic piece of any kind). I love cinema as well, and am always trying to learn new things and watch old films to learn more about it (I watch everything but horror films x) horror films keep me very awake at night!!!).

Poetry is really one of my biggest passions, and am always keen on discovering new poets from other languages and countries. Nevertheless, it's the simple things of life that amaze me: a gorgeous and delicious breakfast, taking a nap on a sunny day, walking through the woods, playing with my cat, drinking tea while it rains outside, spending time and chatting with my loved ones, tending to my plants, cooking, wandering through a bookshop, walking barefoot on the sand, laying down and skygazing, practising my Spanish/German/French, sending postcards, reading through the whole night, open a new coloured pencils' case, dancing, swimming and diving underwater ( there's something magical about the sounds of water all around us), etc.. :)
I hold a PhD in Comparative Literature, and I am a Researcher at the NOVA University of Lisboa. I love to travel and discover new things, and maybe that's why I am such a proud postcrosser - getting to know the world around us through postcards and the written smiles of people we don't know is somewhat magical! Receiving postcards always brightens up my day!!
I wish you all the best, lots of hope and strength :))) Take care and be safe!!!

Just one request: PLEASE AVOID ENVELOPES. I'd prefer if you'd save it - think green. Do your best to write only on the postcard. SAVE THE EARTH. Thanks ;) And also: enjoy life! Dance in the rain! (and then go home and drink hot tea/cocoa so you won't be sick! - ahahah)
