Hi! My name is Igor!
I have a PhD in biology and I work as a scientist and a curator in Arboretum of the Main Botanical Garden in Moscow.
I like cooking and photography. I have a dog (young Norwich terrier, named Reggie), collection of old photo cameras, rare garden plants and beer labels. Also I love traveling and hiking and have a goal to visit as many countries as possible (...I've got 48 so far).

As I travel a lot, I often sent postcrossing cards not from home, but from countries and places I visit. So be free too to write me from where you like or send me cards that you've got in other countries.

I like postcards with:
-old pictures/vintage cards
-plants or botanic related cards, specially old botanical illustrations
-mushrooms
-bridges
-dogs (Norwich terriers are specially welcome if you can find one!)
-cows
-beer and whisky, breweries and distilleries
-sea views, sea shores, weaves, boats, wrecks ect.
-North, Northern views, Northern seas and mountains, Taiga and Tundra
-Northern lights (Aurora borealis)
-parks and gardens, botanical gardens, greenhouses
-Japanese and Chinese gardens and traditional architecture
-Gotochi
-or handmade postcards

l don't like very touristy postcards (because, you know, "be a traveller, not a tourist"), but I'll be happy to receive any postcard.
