I am married to Gert, he is a wonderful husband, and we are happily married for nearly 50 years.He was a minister, but retired in 2011. I was manager at a Senior Centre, but also retired with my husband.

I had three children, but unfortunately lost a son. My daughter is 46, and not married, and my son, 43, is married and has two children. A boy of 13 years old, and a daughter of 12 years old. They are precious!

I love to read, to write, and mosaic, cross-stitch, knitting, crochet, needlework, embroidering, and making cards. I love watching tennis, rugby, cricket, athletics. My dream : to go to Wimbledon - and see Raffa Nadal playing.

I also like to be in nature, and we often go camping and visit nature parks. We love birdwatching and have quite a number of gardenbirds.

I am a cancer survivor, for seven years, and am very greatful to the Lord for saving me. I like to support other people with cancer.

I would like to recieve postcards and learn from other countries. I would like postcards with a quote, something about your country, birds, flowers, or something arty!
