About Nadezhda...

Hello, Postcrossers!

My name is Nadezhda, I live in a wonderful place of Russia, Sakhalin island. It's reach in history, breathtaking views and wild nature. I move sometime and put my grandma’s address, so the first person who sees the cards is my wonderful granny! She is very excited about that and sends me all photos of them as soon as they arrive.

I'm really fond of reading historical books and poems. You’ll make me very happy if you write about your favorite author/historical person or some interesting facts about his/her biography or your country. Also, it’ll be very nice of you if you write your favorite poem. Actually, you can write whatever you want! I'm very excited to read something about your hometown or place where you have ever been (I’d like to know more “hidden” facts and personal observations about different places). One fact about me, I love coffee very much, so if you could write to me some new recipe or send a beautiful card with it, please, do it! I like laughing, so if you write an interesting and funny story of your pet, I will enjoy reading it!

I'll be very glad to receive any postcard you choose for me. But I would really appreciate getting a postcard with:

・beautiful landscapes
・dogs
・birds
・historic buildings
・poets (Chekhov, Tolstoy, Brodskiy!)
・sweets
・keep calm
・ballet
・dancing people
・funny motions
・art (Dali, Shishkin, Aivazovsky, Van Gogh, Mone, Brullov, Venetsianov, Sorokin, Flavitsky, Pukirev, Vasnetsov)
・old Soviets movies and cartoons
・TV series (once upon a time, scrubs, friends, Sherlock Holmes (with Benedict Cumberbatch), we are bare beares, The Big Bang Theory)
・gas and oil plants
・coffee

By the way, I am collecting cards with !hummingbird! (colibri) and !mandarin duck!

And I absolutely don’t mind to receive handmade postcards or your own paintings. I have a wall of my favorite postcards at home and I can feel that every morning becomes better and more bright when I have a look at them, so be sure that every single card makes a great impact on my life! ^-^

I put my back address on every postcard I send, it is safer for them to travel.

Good luck and happy Postcrossing! ;)
