About Meggie-Christine...

Hi it's me Meggie-Christine from Germany,

I study "organic farming and marketing", and I'm so happy about it. But the end of it is in sight, I started my bachelor thesis a month ago. I'll write about mini kiwis, maybe you have heard of them? Little kiwi fruits you may eat like berries. It took me 4 years to realise what I want to do with my live. In these years I made a gap year (voluntary work in the environmental sector, I worked on an organic farm) and from center 2009 to center 2011 also made a job training as a gardener, wich I finshed in july '11. I'm very intersested in a sustainable lifestyle, which contains organic foodproduction, clothing, travel, energy, buying behaviour, simply everything. In my freetime I hear a lot of music (alternativ, pop, electronic, rock, hiphop, indie, metal, very mixed up), play classical guitar, knit (sox, gloves, gaiters, pullovers, shawls, in strong colours and patterns), go outside by feet, bike or drive with my motorbike through the countryside, love to go to the cinema and otherwise watch lots of films and read books (whodunnit-stories, fantasy, fictionnovels etc).
In the next few years I would like to travel around the world. Learn new languages, countries, people, because it's so exciting and there are so much incredible landscapes out there, I want to see by myself. That's one reason why I start postcrossing.

Due to the fact I love cooking and eating, traditional recipes (best without meat, because I'm vegetarian) would be gorgeous. Descriptions of rites, or something else of your country with a few explanatory words by you would be very nice. But it's no must. I'm curious for everything.
If I can make a wish for the postcards you send to me, please not these fourpicturecards or other cards you can send home from vacation trips with often horrible pictures of the landscape. There are beautiful cards with the countryside, but sadly these are the outnumberd. I absolutely belief in your tastefulness.

I'm looking forward to hear from you from all over the world.
