I'm Carole, school teacher, 2 kids : Violette & Capucine, 11 and 8 years old.
I live in a lovely village near the Pyrénées mountains, in the South West of France.

I would love to travel all around the world, but I'm not rich enough! 😕
I have only had the opportunity to visit several places in France, some others in Spain. It's still not so bad! 😊
I've ever been in New York once, best trip ever!!! 😍
In 2017, we went to Bayahibe, in Dominican Republic, that was great, too! (I took my avatar's picture there) 😎
Every summer holiday, we switch our home with another family. Thanks to this trick, we can travel at a lower price. This summer, we have been to London! I loved it! 🇬🇧🤗

We are cinema lovers in the family : old movies (❤️ Hitchcock, Billy Wilder, Blake Edwards, every single 1940's actor, especially Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn), musicals (❤️Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire), Wes Anderson or Cohen brothers films, cartoons, ...
My favourite movie is West Side Story. I don't have any card about it, so if you send one, I would be very, very happy! 😍
I also like TV series (especially British ones), pop music (❤️ the Beatles, and lots of others : David Bowie, ABBA, Velvet Underground/Lou Reed, Strokes, Franz Ferdinand, White Stripes, Babyshambles, the Sparks,...), art (❤️ Hopper, Warhol, Delaunay,...), litterature (19th/20th century), comic strips (❤️ Calvin & Hobbes, Peanuts, Margaux Motin, Pénélope Bagieu, ...), performing arts (ballets), ...

I'm looking forward to receiving lots of postcards from all over the world! I don't have any special requirement, I'm curious about everything (except animals : I'm not fond of them...).
