Slightly bizarre, but not dangerous in any way, Frenchman living in a converted concrete collective-farm building, thirty miles out of Prague. One wife, five children, one neuronally-challenged (but affectionate) spaniel named Elle L. Bean, two cats (Saikebon & Totoro), many guinea pigs, a Jawa 650. Travelling, boats, skiing, rugby, gardening, trains and lots of reading make me a happy person indeed!

I love cards with naked women, really kitsch or offbeat cards, silly or daft cards (for some completely unfathomable reason the Germans are the best at funny cards!), beautiful cards, trains, boats, any cards sent in friendship. I also appreciate nice stamps. I try to make an effort to send cards that will deliver some degree of pleasure - which seems to me the whole point of the exercise - so it's really insulting when I get an obvious leftover with LITTLE or NO TEXT: At least write why you joined Postcrossing in the first place! Whatever your level of english (or French or Spanish or Czech or Italian!) I'll be happy to read you!

NO postcards of Putin, other ex-KGBs, Kim-il-Sung, Lukachenko, corrupt Chinese Communists, Mao, Che, Staline, Ceaucescu, V. Klaus and other such charmers (I can't believe I actually have had to write this!)

Bizarre mais innoffensif Français vivant dans un sovkhoze réaménagé à cinquante kilomètres de Prague. (Re-)marié, cinq enfants (dont une pièce rapportée), une épagneule peu intellectuelle (Elle El Bine), beaucoup de cochons d'Inde, deux chats de canapé (Saikebon & Totoro), une Jawa 650, et une bonne bibliothèque.

J'aime les cartes postales hyper-craignos, de préférence super-criardes avec des femmes nues, mais aussi les cartes postales drôles (surtout Allemandes!), bizarres, ou n'ayant rien à voir avec la choucroute, sans oublier les jolies cartes postales toutes simples envoyées avec amitié - et les cholis timbres, une fois!

Je fais toujours un effort pour écrire quelque-chose d'intéressant (enfin j'essaye!) sur une carte qui VOUS ferait plaisir, essayez à votre tour d'au moins écrire quelques mots (c'est le but du jeu, non?)! A bientôt!

PS: Merci de ne PAS m'envoyer de portraits de dictateurs ou d'assassins, en particuliers Russes ou Chinois (Précision après avoir reçu un portrait officiel de Poutine...)
