Hello to my fellow Post-Crossers out there!

Hej from Sverige! I just recently arrived in Sweden, hopefully my language skills will improve with time. I am originally from Germany, and have lived in the US for many years.

I've been teaching German to refugees during my last stay in Germany, and it has been a rewarding experience. There are so many differences between people, but by being able and wanting to understand each other, we can learn about those differences, accept them, and live more meaningful lives. Together.

My profile pic was taken during a trip to Sicily. We had such a great time there. Our retirement dream is to live on a little island off the coast of Sicily, growing oranges or olives. At first we thought about no electricity either, but then I would have to give up Post Crossing. Not a good idea.

I am looking forward to hearing from you, learning about your country, yourself, anything that interests you.

I love postcards of rabbits, turtles, guinea pigs, chocolate, books, travels.
But any kind of postcard is very much appreciated. Sending one you would like to receive yourself would be a great way to get to know you.

To the French speakers out there: I'm not fluent, but would like to be. Please write the card in French, it will give me more incentive to study up. Merci!

To the Swedish speakers out there: please help me become fluent. I would love it, if you would write in Swedish. Tack så mycket!
