About Mary...
I am interested in post cards because my Mother used to send post cards as a way to stay in touch. We have several old ones she has written. I have collected a few vintage postcards from Georgia and a few other states.
I am retired, I have grown children and young grandchildren. I like to read and study my Bible, sew, walk, research family history, love nature and now send postcards. I keep chickens in our backyard, we have six. I have recently researched our ancestors back to England and Scotland, so I hope I will receive a post card from there at some point in this journey.
I am not one to travel but I am interested in learning about the rest of the world through its people and cultures. I will be excited to receive any postcard you send.
March 2017, celebrating my first year as a Postcrosser. It has been a fun year and I have met so many wonderful people through sending cards. I recently met someone in my home town that was a fellow postcrosser. I even have a pen friend through Postcrossing, how awesome is that!
I love trees, my favorite is the Red Maple, I love them all. I am wondering how many cards I can receive this year with trees. Trees that are native to your country, or that you like, ones in your neighborhood, the oldest tree in your area. I even like cards that you make or print or draw yourself! Sounds like this could be a fun second year. If you do not have a tree card, no problem, whatever you want to send.
