My name is Maria.

I come from a small country, the Republic of Belarus. If you ask locals what this country is known for then most will answer that it is a country of lakes and forests. In my country there are no high mountains or access to the sea, there are no huge megacities and castles of the 13th century, but in my homeland there are good-natured and sympathetic, cheerful and smiling people!

Throughout my life I have tried and continue to try more hobbies.
For a long time I was engaged in dancing, played in the theater, carried away by history and cinematography, literature and psychology.
Since 5 years old I am fond of cooking, I love to bake delicious cakes. IF YOU HAVE A FAVORITE DISH, YOU CAN WRITE ME ITS NAME. I will be very happy! And if you still know the recipe for this dish, then you will make me even happier and you will increase my cookbook by one more recipe.
But always in the first place I was attracted by communication with new people, especially from foreign countries. And of course travel! I've tried traveling more than once, using couchsurfing - the best way to get to know the country from the inside!

Since childhood I studied French, and I studied English for only several months. Now I continue to improve my level of English and postcrossing can help me with it. Sorry for my bad English
